Libby Lyle - Operations & Office Manager
We would firstly like to introduce Libby, our Operations and Office Manager. Libby has been an integral part of the business since 2003 so, some of you may know Libby well! With around 18 years of experience, she could tell you a thing or two about the construction industry. As a woman in construction, Libby is proud to be named a Construction Ambassador, in which she actively encourages and promotes the construction industry as a career path in local schools and colleges.
Libby is also our Health & Safety representative, ensuring the health & safety at work of all subcontractors and employees whilst keeping all our SMAS, CHAS and Construction Line accreditations up to date. In her professional capacity, no task is too substantial. And in a personal capacity, Libby has been involved in numerous different charitable endeavours, including becoming a Wish Visitor for MakeAWish; with her greatest personal achievement being climbing in the Mount Everest Mountain Range – including a trek to base camp and also Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro all for MakeaWish.
Without Libby, the daily running of our business would be significantly harder, much less full of laughs and everyday would be much less fun.
Eve Parker - Marketing & Administrative Assistant
For our next women in construction, we would like to introduce our Marketing and Admin Assistant, Eve Parker. Eve joined the team in September 2020, to work part-time in the office alongside Libby and Kelly. With this being her first time working within the Construction Industry, she had no prior experience. However, Eve is known for being able to pick things up quickly which is exactly what she did here at SLBC Ltd.
In the office Eve supports all administrative tasks whilst colour-coding and labeling EVERYTHING, and when we say everything, we mean EVERYTHING! (Even the shelves in our storeroom). Dealing with drawings, customer care, personnel, tax statements etc. Microsoft Excel has become Eve’s best friend!
When Eve isn’t at work, she has been busy pursuing a masters degree in Digital Marketing Management from Strathclyde University. This has assisted enormously in the upkeep of SLBC Ltd’s Website, and the creation of engaging content on LinkedIn which Eve is always busy working upon behind the scenes.

Kelly Donnelly - Accounts Manager
And lastly, but by no means least, is our amazing Accounts Manager, Kelly – number one coffee drinker, politest phone voice, Microsoft Excel Genius, and number cruncher. Kelly works extremely hard getting the figures to the penny with her mantra: ‘’If it’s not to the penny, it’s not good enough for me.’’
Kelly has been managing our accounts since before SLBC Limited was SLBC Limited. As an integral part of the business, Kelly oversees invoicing, wages, tendering, claim recording and more, all of which ultimately contributes to the smooth and unproblematic running of our business.
When Kelly isn’t at work, she enjoys hillwalking and spending time with her two daughters who keep her on her toes at home - all of whom have a shared love for ACDC (who doesn’t to be honest?)
